Fine Antique Inlaid Oak Handkerchief Table
About the Item
A small square games table in figured oak with foliate marquetry on the four sides and fine string inlays. The frieze with scrolled lower edge and one small drawer. The hinged sections opening to a figured wood gaming surface with pale wood circular depressions in the corners and a green felt center. Raised on darker wood finely turned legs with upcurved stretchers and a carved rosette center finial.
Dimensions: 21 1/2 x 21 1/2", H. 29 1/2"
Condition: Please see all detail photos. Various signs of age include mostly fine scratches to the top surface and a few stable age cracks on the top, expected stains and wear to the felt, chip to the wood near one felt corner, a few minor marks on the pale wood depressions all noted for accuracy as the presentation is very fine and elegant.
