About the Item

A rare and collectible example of radical Italian design, this original set of Quattro Gatti nesting tables was designed by Mario Bellini and produced by C&B Italia in the late 1960s. The set includes four stackable tables made of injection-moulded resin in a vivid mustard yellow tone. With a fluid, minimalist form and modular function, they reflect Bellini’s vision of flexible and playful domestic design. These tables can be used individually as occasional tables or combined vertically as a sculptural unit, suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, or offices with a flair for modernism. Their condition is excellent: intact and clean, with minor abrasions concentrated near the foot slots. This is an iconic design piece that will appeal to collectors of Italian modernism, Space Age design, or mid-century furniture with a twist.
