18th Century Rustic Spanish Small Shoemaker's Side Table with Spool Turned Legs

About the Item

This small-sized 18th century rustic Spanish shoemaker's work table (mesa de zapatero) was hand crafted, as much of this type of traditional furniture was, from solid walnut. The tabletop is a single plank, and shows wear and cut marks attesting to its two plus centuries of use. It has a single drawer featuring a wrought iron pull, and stands on spool turned legs. This well-proportioned little table has tons of personality, carrying the scars and patina of age. The furniture SHIPS FROM WITHIN THE UNITED STATES, so no extra duties or export / import paperwork will be required.
