About the Item

A rare Spanish walnut side table or wall table that was made in Spain in the mid 18th century. This table is unique because of its intricately turned legs. The legs' top block features a double square light wood inlaid pattern. The legs are joined by an apron and block stretchers at the bottom, giving the piece lots of stability. The table rests on sleek bun feet. The top is a beautiful 1.2 inches thick single piece of timber of solid walnut with a fantastic grain pattern. The piece has a fairly light honey color, deep gloss and features a rich patina. The table has a very elegant appearance due to the turned legs and warm honey color. The piece was gently cleaned and a new protective wax coat was applied. This beautiful side table is ready for use now.
