19th Century French, Faux Bamboo, Marble and Bird’s-Eye Maple Wash Stand Table

Exceptionally crafted wash stand/table from France, mid-19th century, Aesthetic Movement era. Inset red marble top, a single drawer and a white marble lined cabinet. Faux bamboo stem legs with a realistic, hand carved bamboo "root clump" for feet. Gorgeous bird's-eye maple on sides and shelf top. Stylized bronze drawer and cabinet pulls. Brass cabinet latch is marked "Brevete sgdg" and "Paris" with cross keys. Only flaws to note, a hairline crack in a corner which is pictured.
