About the Item

Louis XVI dressing table, France 1780. For the beautiful marquetry, the maker combined two types of veneer: Walnut and kingwood. The dressing table has one exterior drawer, a built in flip up central mirror and an area to place cosmetic utensils. It is raised on slender straight legs. The table must be placed against a wall to support the flip-up mirror. The table is in good condition with the expected wear and tear of a 18th century piece.
