We are delighted to offer for sale this sublime 19th century Victorian continental burr satinwood dressing table with Italian marble top A quintessentially Classic piece, it feels eastern European, most likely Venetian, the frame is exquisite solid burr satinwood, there are ebonised details all over, recessed handles, the original mercury plate glass, this is a rare survivor The piece comes in two pieces for ease of transport, the top is free standing and can be fully removed We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there are quite a few small pieces of timber missing, I can have it fully restored and made gallery perfect for the cost price which would be around £200-£400 Dimensions: Height 155cm top to bottom, 78cm table top height Width 100cm Depth 53.5cm Legroom Height 62cm Width 61cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
