Set of Twelve Italian 19th Century Neoclassical Prints Set in a Giltwood Frame
About the Item
An elegant and most decorative set of twelve Italian 19th century Neo-Classical prints set in a giltwood frame. Each beautiful print displays wonderfully executed Greek and Neo-Classical figures. The prints depict wrestlers, Olympians and elegant personages posing. Two of the prints depict the "Centaur Captive of Love" which is by the same sculptor as a grouping in the Borghese Gardens Museum. All original gilt throughout.
