Born in 1943, grew up in Hamburg and Berlin, studied at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Berlin, formative and intensive encounters with Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, who encouraged him to follow the trends of the time in his own style of painting.
During an intensive creative phase on Ischia, the painter worked together with the Hamburg painter Eduard Bargheer. Since 1996, Hans-Henrik Husemann has been working on the TERRA HORIZONTE series, large-format, color-intensive, abstract landscape worlds.
Today, Hans-Henrik Husemann's paintings can be found in many important private collections in Germany and abroad.
