1950s Robert Steed Painting Wellfleet Facade
About the Item
Signed and titled lower left and verso, Robert Steed, New York, NY, "Wellfleet Facade". Oil paint on paper. Beautiful layered and intricate abstracted cityscape. The piece is in excellent, original condition, circa 1950.
The framing treatment consists of a simple wood profile molding with a linen matte and gilded fillet. The back is backed by an old piece of cardboard. The piece has not been viewed out of the frame. The overall dimensions are 31.88" x 26.75" and the sight dimensions are 25.5" x 20.75".
