About the Item
A very attractive & finely executed portrait of a beautiful young woman positioned facing the viewer, her hair worn in high chignon and wearing pearl drop earrings, attired in a white chemise with a ruffled lace collar beneath a black tunic. Oil on canvas laid down on board, apparently unsigned, and set with a period giltwood frame.
Dimensions, 11.25” x 8.25” (sight), 16.25 x 13.5”, (framed).
