20th Century Oil Canvas Italian Signed Bentivoglio Mountain Landscape Painting
About the Item
Italian painting from the first half of the 20th century. Artwork oil on canvas, first canvas, depicting a fabulous mountain view with chalet of excellent pictorial quality. Painting of good size and good luminosity characterized by particular shades of color in the snow-capped mountains. The contrast with the bright green of the lawn and the intense green of the forest with the numerous shades of the snow in the upper part is pleasant (see photo). Painting signed C. Bentivoglio on the bottom left (see photo) attributable to the famous painter Cesare Bentivoglio (1868-1952) without authentication and additional documentation. Finely carved, lacquered and gilded wooden frame, structurally sound, with some small drops of color (see photo). Painting that is part of a pair (see photo and ask for the bulk price, if available). Artwork that is presented in a beautiful patina and in a good state of conservation. Sight size H 49.5 x W 99.5 cm.
