About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original 19th century Dutch oil on canvas of an old man with very grey hair and an almost Irish looking hat which is part of a suite This one is of an elderly gentleman with very grey hair and interesting hat, he has a slight Irish look to him, the frame is lovely, the oil is stamped D and has the gallery stamp to the rear The condition of the oil is in antique order, this seems to be the best one out of all them as it has a lovely frame Dimensions Height:- 42cm Width:- 36cm Depth:- 5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
