Depicting a fire viewed through trees in a blue-skied wintery landscape.
Painted in a free and confident impressionist style typical of Snell’s later work.
Signed ‘J. Herbert Snell’ on the back of the wooden panel inside the back frame.
Framed in a later, yet complimentary wooden frame.
The painting is in good vintage condition with only minor wear commensurate with age.
