About the Item
This large Mid-Century Modern original abstract painting was done by Etta Cien Benjamin, also known as Etta Cien, Estacien J. Benjamin, Etta J. Benjamin, etc. of the United States in approximately 1967. The painting is framed in a period thin gold toned metal frame and clearly signed "Etta" in the bottom right corner. The painting is done in on a muted taupe background with various colors in the foreground contrasted with heavy black accents. The frame is stamped on the back "Hillside Originals" identifying her Gallery from which she displayed and sold her work. This painting has two original wires on the back indicating the painting can be hung in two positions, which is exhibited in the first and last posted photos of this artwork.
