About the Item
This charming naive painting of two cats, one with a white fur, one with a reddish brown tiger fur, has been painted on a wooden panel using oil paints. It was painted around the last decade of the nineteenth century. The white cat is the lucky one to have caught the mouse.
The paiting has been visited by a woodworm, however the creature has left a long time ago. The painting came foom a French family collection.
