An elegant and extremely decorative French late 18th century Oil on Canvas and Giltwood Grisaille painting. The wonderfully detailed painting depicts a charming scene of four women and two men seated around a table displaying fruits and cakes, while serving drinks. Each classically dressed figure is caught in conversation within a wonderfully manicured garden with walls and statuary. The painting is set within its original Giltwood frame with a lattice design and scrolled foliate movements throughout.
