About the Item
Offered here for your consideration is a 1980s soft-realism oil on canvas painting of a woman and seagulls.
Hal Singer (1919-2003) studied at New York University and the Art Students League. He was represented in East Coast galleries and exhibited from the 1960s throughout the remainder of his life. He referred to the style of painting that he became known for as ‘soft-realism’, and his style feels very much rooted in the zeitgeist of the 1980s.
The painting dates to the late 20th century.

Framed in a contemporary gilt chrome finished metal frame.
