Vintage Hudson Valley New York Oil Painting in Newcomb Macklin Frame
Romantic and moody autumn landscape painting, oil on canvas signed by Truman Edmund Fassett and dated 1910. Fassett, a New York artist, graduated from Cornell University in 1909. He created this painting in the early stages of his career. It already shows the talent of a master. This beautiful painting is housed in an exquisite, period Newcomb Macklin frame. It is a perfect and unsurpassed match.
Condition is very good. Wear due to age and use.
