About the Item

A stunning and vivid oil on canvas by the important contemporary artist Duncan Hannah. It is signed dated and titled on the rear 8/84 "the lion and the lambs." Many of NYC's finest galleries have shown his work. This work bears a Semaphore gallery stamp on the stretcher as well as an inventory label. I borrowed the following biography and exhibition listing from the Bettcher Gallery, whose website is worth a visit, as they represent a wonderful collection of artist;
