Mesmerizing French still life oil painting on board. The midcentury painting depicts a pheasant on a tablecloth with green cabbage. Amazing detail and brushwork set in a distressed giltwood frame. Signed on bottom right by artist Marie-Louise Simeon (French) documented sales on verso in pencil 1937, and 1946 very difficult to read. Painting should be reframed and cleaned. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
