About the Item
The antique paintings Still Life with Fruit proposed here is a Beautiful oil painting on canvas from the 1800s and dresses with
a gilded frame in pure gold leaf from the 19th century period. 19th century.
This is a pleasant still life with an antique ceramic plate with Fruits, Walnuts, Raisins, some cheese
and on the side a glass of black wine, a teapot, and the whole thing is resting on a white tablecloth.
Old paintings, 19th-century still life of fruit, dated 1882 and signed lower right J. L. Georges,
french painter of still life paintings, genre paintings and portraits.
Jean-Louis Georges (1831-1893) was a pupil of Danguin and Guichard at the " Des Beaux-Arts" school in Lyon
where he has been studying since 1860. He began exhibiting his still life paintings at the "Salon de Lyon" from 1865.
The antique gilt frame and antique oil painting are professionally restored.
