This work is signed Sebastion, verso of the canvas: framed size 37” x 27” x 2” Depth; canvas size: 30” x 20”. This painting depicts the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris France in winter, towering amongst the local Dwellings. Sebastion was born in Paris in 1931 and soon thereafter he painted the Notre Dame Cathedral. He has painted professionally in oils and acrylics for the last twenty years. He was influenced by the French Impressionist. However, he completed several other works in still life and portraits in very precise detail. Sebastion’s work has been sold throughout America, Australia and Europe and many of his paintings are in Private Collections.
