A unique oil painting of 1st violinist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra as well as the famous very popular Boston Pops, Mr. Einer Hansen.
Mr. Hansen was born In Denmark in 1890 and passed in 1976.
The painting proudly depicts Mr. Hansen posing with his treasured violin.
It is well done in oil on canvas and displayed in a very handsome frame of the period measuring 33" w. x 41" ht. x 3"
The painting is signed and dated in the upper left hand corner and I believe it to read the year 1924.
This is a handsome portrait to be displayed for those with musical interests particularly the violin.
It is in good condition and ready to be displayed and enjoyed.
