20th Century Philip S. Read (1927-2000) Acrylic on Canvas Painting titled "Pavlova". Very large (60 x 72), making it a sizable and impactful work. Painting likely depicts Anna Pavlova, the iconic Russian prima ballerina whose performances captivated audiences around the world. Pavlova was known for her grace and her portrayal of the "Dying Swan," a role that became synonymous with her name.
