Meraviglioso ritratto ad olio su tela, epoca primi del 900', realizzato dalla pittrice Ernestina Mak Orlandini. Il ritratto raffigura una dama vestita di bianco con in mano un bouquette di fiori. Misure 190 cm x 120 cm.
Il dipinto non reca firma, ma le pennellate, lo sfondo e i colori scuri sono tipici della pittrice che rendono inconfondibili i suoi dipinti.
BIOGRAFIA:
Ernestina Orlandini (Hanau, 2 febbraio 1869 – Firenze, 1956) è stata una pittrice tedesca naturalizzata italiana. si sposò con Alfredo Orlandin per cui ottenne la cittadinanza italiana, prese dimora a Firenze e da allora è conosciuta come Ernestina Orlandini o Enrichetta Orlandini, oppure come Ernestina Mack Orlandini
Era stata tra i fondatori, nel 1893, della Secessione di Berlino (Berliner Secession), che aveva riunito un gruppo di artisti e di architetti che avevano preso le distanze dai dettami dell'arte accademica. A Firenze Ernestina Orlandini attraversò l'esperienza della pittura divisionista, entrò poi nell'orbita dei Post macchiaioli, realizzando paesaggi freschi e luminosi e delicate composizioni floreali.
