Original vintage alcohol drink advertising poster - Mother Loves Her Little Hennessy Father Does Too! Great artwork of two St Bernard dogs against a yellow background, both carrying small wooden barrels of Hennessy Brandy around their necks with the mother dog licking the puppy above the stylised text and caption running diagonally next to a bottle of Hennessy in the corner. Saint Bernard dogs are a mountain search and rescue breed that originally worked, since the late 17th century, at the Great St Bernard Pass monastery hospice helping stranded winter travellers in the Alps between Switzerland and Italy. Artwork by William Paine. Designed and produced by Dorland Advertising Ltd London. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, staining, backed on linen.
