Original Vintage Poster-Cycles Motos Thomann-Elephant-Bike, 1926
Advertising poster to promote the cycles and motorcycles of the Thomann brand created by Alphonse Thomann in 1908.
The poster specifies Thomann ""without the first name"" to A-participating from the mark ""A. Thomann 'or' Alphonse Thomann '. Indeed, Alphonse Thomann sold in 1911 to Gentil and Co. his company, to re-open then another company of bicycles and motorcycles. The company Gentil and Cie forbade Alphonse Thomann to use the brand ""A. Thomann"" which belonged to them after the sale of 1911. Alphonse Thomann decided to create the brand ""Thomann"" with as emblem the orange elephant . To To also as a ""Jean Thomann cycle"", brother of Alphonse, who had as emblem the monkey or the gorilla.
