Original vintage ski and winter sport travel poster for the Krummhubel Mountain Resort at the foot of the Schneekoppe Ski Bobsled Toboggan Ice / Krummhubel Bruckenberg am Fusse der Schneekoppe Schi Bob Rodel Eis. The Schneekoppe / Riesenkoppe is the highest point in the Giant Mountains / Riesengebirge on the border of the Czech Republic and Poland. Krummhubel / Karpacz is a spa town and ski resort in Jelenia Gora County in south west Poland. Great Art Deco style artwork featuring a lady with blonde hair standing on wooden skis and leaning on her ski poles at the top of a slope looking back at the snowy mountains and ski jump with skiers and spectators on the sides by trees, a Nazi German flag flying by the stands. (*Note: the 1935-1945 flag of Germany featuring the swastika has been covered in the image but appears as originally printed on the poster itself.) Printed by Wilh. Gottl. Korn in Breslau, now Wroclaw. Good condition, restored paper loss in top right corner, minor creasing, backed on linen.
