Original vintage summer travel poster for Beatenberg Niederhorn Switzerland Berner Oberland Suisse. Great artwork by Martin Peikert (1901-1975) depicting a fashionably dressed couple on a chair lift with snow topped mountain peaks in the background, the lady wearing a head scarf billowing behind her and the man waving to people on a sun terrace below, some relaxing and drinking at tables, others enjoying the view over fields to Lake Thun and sunbathing on deck chairs. Good condition, large restored paper loss on top left corner, restored tears, restored pinholes, minor staining, backed on linen.
