Original vintage LNER train travel poster designed by one of England's leading poster artists Austin Cooper (1890-1964): The Trossachs Tour Scotland by London and North Eastern Railway featuring a stunning image depicting calm lake water reflecting the trees and hills in front of a yellow and orange sun-lit sky in the background, the title and rest of the text in stylised lettering below: Illustrated literature and full information from any L.N.E.R. agency. The Trossachs is a wooded area of glens, hills and lochs located in the Scottish Highlands. Published by the London & North Eastern Railway. Printed by McCorquodale & Co., Glasgow & London. Horizontal. Large size. Good condition, fold marks, repaired tears, minor staining, pinholes, backed on linen, linen trimmed to edges.
