A refined 19th-century lithograph portrait of Mademoiselle Georges Veimer, rendered with exquisite attention to detail and soft tonal transitions. The subject, depicted half-draped with classical poise, is shown with upswept curls, bare shoulders, and a thoughtful gaze. She wears a delicate bracelet and clutches a sheer drapery, lending the composition both sensuality and grace in line with early Romantic portraiture.
This lithograph originates from a collaboration between Dutch artist Carel Christiaan Anthony Last (1808–1876), credited as the draughtsman (indicated by C.C.A. Last del.), and lithographer A. van Visser, whose name appears at bottom right. The edition is consistent in style, paper, and layout with a known 1836 portrait series published by Karl Joseph Brodtmann of Zurich, a major figure in early European lithography.
