About the Item
Intaglio print by Colombian artist Omar Rayo (1928-2010). This is signed in pencil lower left "C/A No. 1/5 Omar Rayo - El Vaso". This was likely made in New York as he had just moved there from Mexico City in 1961. At his first exhibition of prints in New York the Museum of Modern Art purchased a number of them for their collection. This is an embossed print on heavy paper with color added. Site size is 9 1/8 inches by 12 1/4 inches. Provenance available on request. The photograph of Omar Rayo is not included.
