About

This is a fine set of 5 hand-colored engravings by the renown French botanist, Henri-Louis Duhamel du Monceau (1700-1782). The folios were taken from Duhamel du Monceau's Treatise on Fruiting Trees published in 1768. The folios are in good condition, retaining the bright colors of the original hand coloring. The engravings are framed in cherry red and gold leaf.
