Set Of Two Exceptionally Framed Hand-colored 18th C. Engravings
An exceptionally custom framed set of two hand-colored 18th C. engravings on paper. The hand-colored prints depict architectural interior and exterior settings. The two book plate prints include plates number Pag 229, and Pag 329.
Each of the antique hand-colored engravings are exceptionally custom framed. presented with gold leaf borders surrounding the artwork, with hand-painted mats, in fabulously carved wood and gesso frames with gilt and ebonized finishes having neoclassical columns in ebonized finish with interior beaded and carved gilt finish. Additionally each corner of the frame with gilt finish and carved medallions seen in relief.
Dimensions:
Sight: 13 1/2" H x 10 1/8" W
Frame: 29 3/4" H x 25 7/8" W x 1 5/8" D
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are , very minor losses to the gilt finish in the corners of frame mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is particularly fine.
