Snaffles WWI Military Print, The Gunner.
A good Snaffles WWI military print entitled 'The 'Gunner', it is a hand coloured lithograph and shows the Gunner looking up at a passing plane (it is a remaque in the top right corner) with the caption 'Good hunting! Old sportsman'. In the bottom left hand margin is a second remarque depicting a column of guns led by an officer on a charger. This Charles "Snaffles" Johnson Payne (1884 1967) picture is in good original condition with the Snaffles blindstamp (a bridle bit) above the title and by the corner of the mount. Framed in a modern black frame.
