Exceptionally rare antique Cope Large and impressive Beautiful Silk Lampas skillfully hand woven in crimson / pink silk upon an opulent gold metallic ground. Italian and dating from second half on the 16th century Finished with 17th century braids and hand made metallic fastenings Absolutely exquisite hand woven fabric over 450 years old with general signs of wear commensurate with use . Lampas strong and stable.
