About the Item

Sterling silver 2pc fish serving set in the Acorn pattern by Georg Jensen. The Acorn pattern was introduced in 1915 as a collaboration between Georg Jensen and designer Johan Ronde. The Acorn pattern, which combines Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles, has become a timeless classic. The hallmark on this piece was used exclusively on silver sold in the Georg Jensen & Wendel store in Copenhagen, Denmark, circa 1945-51. This serving set includes a fork and a spatula with a pierced design and crossed fish details on both pieces. The fork measures approx 9 3/4" long, 2 1/2" wide across the widest point of the tines. The spatula measures approx 10 1/2" long, 2 3/4" wide across the widest point of the blade. Weighs approx 253.0g, 162.7dwt total Marked STERLING DENMARK GEORG JENSEN & WENDEL A/S on both pieces. Very nice condition with some light tarnish and slight surface scratching. Will come packaged in a gift box or pouch (when possible) and will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance.
