Antique Amor Hunter Landscape Enamel Painting Pearl Turquoise Silver Gold Brooch
About the Item
A lozenge shaped frame is covered with black enamel and decorated with white enamel dots. On the outer side of the lozenge are four silver scrolls set with turquoise cabochons. Two articulated silver mounted natural pearls are suspended from the two bottom scrolls.
An octagonal enamelled painting depicting cupid blowing a French horn with his left hand and holding a rifle with his right hand. He is standing in a landscape before a black background. The top and the bottom of the octagonal is connected by Dreipass decorated with three orient pearls and highlighted by two small golden balls. To either side are further natural pearls in silver mounts. Extremely charming French piece of jewellery with silver and makers marks.
