A Belle Époque Iris Stickpin By Lacloche

About the Item

A Belle Époque amethyst and diamond iris stickpin by Lacloche, consisting of five peals each centrally-set with two faceted amethysts surrounded by small rose-cut diamonds, all mounted in platinum with yellow gold pin, signed Lacloche, circa 1910, the jewelled part measuring 1.4 x 1.6cm, the pin measuring 6.5cm long, gross weight 2.7 grams. This antique stickpin is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as platinum with possibly later 15ct gold pin. This stylish Belle Époque amethyst and diamond iris stickpin by Lacloche comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London distinguished jewellers by appointment to His Majesty the King. The stickpin, depicting a blooming iris, features five enchanting petals, each adorned with a central deep purple amethyst surrounded by shimmering rose-cut diamonds. Bearing the signature of the renowned Lacloche, this stickpin exemplifies the delicate portrayal of nature characteristic of 1910.
