The necklace has been crafted in the form of a dragon's head and serpent-like body. The dragons head is embellished with a textured design and flowing scroll motifs. The head is ornamented with a three bezel set cabochon cut garnets; a larger garnet to the crown of the head and two smaller garnets to represent the dragon's eyes. A feature bezel set cabochon cut garnet suspends from the dragon's open mouth, set to the center of a pierced decorated scrolling design. The body of the dragon is represented by a graduated snake chain, by which means the necklace is worn around the neck.
