Victorian Persian Turquoise Festoon Link Necklace
About the Item
A stunning turquoise necklace from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This lovely piece is set in 14kt rose gold and is comprised of 17 round cabochon and 17 oval-shaped turquoise stones. Each of the oval shaped stones dangle from the round turquoise stones in a feminine festoon style, beautifully draping along the neckline. The turquoise is a brilliant blue color and features natural mineral spider webbing throughout. A 14kt rose gold chain completes the necklace, securing in the back and a spring ring clasp. It's a wonderful piece that would look great worn day or night!
The necklace measures approximately 15" long. The turquoise ranges slightly in size, however, on an average, the round stones measure 3/8" in diameter and oval stones measure 1/2" long and 1/4" wide.
