This stunning, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with a silver setting.
The pierced decorated drop style pendant is ornamented with a central feature articulated eight-claw set 1.57Ct Old European cut diamond.
This stunning feature diamond suspends from a tri-leaf design emanating from the tapering upper portion of the frame.
The symmetrical swept frame is embellished with a further forty-six Old European cut diamonds, totaling 2.42Ct.
A stunning single, certified natural saltwater pearl terminal articulates and suspends from the lower border of the design.
This large antique diamond and pearl pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18k yellow gold 45.72cm/18" trace chain via an integrated, hinged ring loop attachment.
This antique pearl and diamond pendant necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold and silver.
This impressive pendant is supplied with an independent diamond grading report certificate for the feature diamond, an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones, in addition to a pearl report supplied by the Gemological Certificate Services (GCS), London*.

A German, Belle Époque, diamond fringed, openwork necklace, with alternating floral clusters and single, old mine-cut diamonds, with a removable diamond fringed swag, connected by a hook at each floral cluster, comprising eight old cut-diamond drops, in pear shaped mounts, with an estimated total diamond weight of 20.00ct, mounted in silver-upon-gold, in an H. Bückmann, Hannover box. Circa 1905.
Hermann Friedrich Wilhelm Bückmann, was a royal court jeweller, goldsmith and silversmith, trading from Georgstraße 18, in Hanover. He was born in 1814, in Brünninghausen and died in 1866. He was apprenticed to Gustav Albert Kemnis in Hanover and then worked in Vienna, Switzerland and Paris, over a period of six years. In 1841 he received his master craftsman's certificate and on 29th June, that year, he took the oath of citizenship of the then royal seat of Hanover. He married Sophie Dorothee Täger. They had a daughter on 21st April, 1847.
From 1854 Bückmann appeared in the Hanover directories as a court jeweller and independent gold and silversmith, at Leinstrasse 22. In the same year he received a medal at the First General German Industrial Exhibition, in Munich. He was also awarded a silver and gold medals for his exhibits at various trade exhibitions, organized by the Hanover Trade Association. By 1863 he had moved to Georgstraße 7, "opposite the bank, next to the British Hotel...

Superb antique jewel it is composed of an openwork decoration of arabesques in white gold filigree which hold in the center a medal in mat gold representing the haloed virgin. "Ave Maria" is written at the bottom. A sapphire is millegrains set, and the antique medal holds a natural baroque pearl in the pendant. On the back, the pendant is chiselled with a chalice and an engraving in arabesques.
Height: 5.5 cm, width at widest: 2.2 cm, thickness: 1.3 mm approximately.
