THIS IS A STUNNING ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN - ART DECO NEGLIGEE PENDANT DROP NECKLACE SET WITH GORGEOUS BLUE JASPER CABOCHONS AND PENDANTS IN SILVER DATING TO CIRCA 1910.
This is a stunning Art Deco - Edwardian necklace. The wonderful blue jasper cabochon and pear shaped drops are set in silver mounts. The negligee style where one pendant hangs slightly below the others is classic Edwardian - Art Deco and is so very desirable and divine when worn. The lapidary work with the Jasper gems is very characteristic of the work from the Idar-Oberstein region of Germany which is renowned for its exquisite designs created with beautiful carved gemstones.
The necklace is 18 inches (46cm) long. The chain has been extended with the larger link section.
The pendant portion is 2 1/2 inches (65 mm) long from the top of the round jasper cabochon to the bottom of the lower pendant.
