Large 14K Gold Beaded Mandala Medallion Pendant
About the Item
What a fun vintage piece!
Made in Italy of 14K yellow and white gold, this very large pendant resembles a mandala, I think. It's cleverly made of small gold beads, giving the piece some flexibility so it almost feels like stiff metal fabric, with great, kind of lace-like texture..
Measuring approximately 1 9/16 (40mm) in diameter, it's very striking when worn. The total drop length, including the original twisted wire bail, is a little over 1 7/8 of an inch or approximately 42.5mm. The bail is oval in shape and roomy, so it will allow many different styles and widths of chain or cord to be used with it - making it extra versatile.
Small marks for 14K gold and Italy are present. On my scale, the finished weight is 5.57 grams. In very good condition and ready to enjoy.
