"Tic Tac Whoa" Yellow Gold Necklace with 1.43ct Diamonds & Natural Ombré Citrine
About the Item
This one-of-a-kind humdinger by Eytan Brandes features an 18 karat gold grid set with princess-cut white diamonds suspended from a long natural citrine boasting a gorgeous color transition from yellow, to smoky gold to crystal clarity. The delivery service for this stunning pendant is two strands of sparkling zircon* and moonstone.
The grid is actually a recycled pendant salvaged from a 1970's pearl necklace. It's solid 18 karat yellow gold and is actually two layers of bars -- some polished and some satin-finished -- into which Eytan inserted settings for 11 natural, earth-mined and untreated square diamonds. These diamonds are clean and bright princess cuts, each around 3mm, with a total carat weight of 1.43 carats; Eytan rates them G color and VS1-2 clarity.
The citrine has a simple but well-executed step cut, perfect for showing off its amazing ombré color. It's just under 19 carats. The custom bezel is 14 karat gold.
The fixed chain is two strands of mixed, faceted, 3mm zircon and moonstone beads. The moonstones are all white, but the zircons are a range of orange, brown, light green, yellow, gold, and even a bit of red.
