This stunning Victorian pendant has been crafted in 18k white and yellow gold. The impressive oval shaped black onyx panel is embellished with an impressive floriated 18k white gold design to the anterior surface. The millegrain decorated stemmed floral design is ornamented with fourteen pavé set Old Dutch cut diamonds. The reverse of the pendant is fitted with a push fit glass panel encompassed with an 18k yellow gold mount, which allows a personal memento or keepsake to be displayed. This black onyx and diamond pendant locket is suspended from a contemporary 18k yellow gold 45.72cm/18" trace chain via a tapering bale ornamented with five further Old Dutch cut diamonds. The chain secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening to the reverse. This antique locket has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold. This star motif is ornamented with a feature Old European cut diamond to the center, accented with eighteen Dutch cut diamonds graduating in size, in a stellate manner. The anterior surface of the pendant is further ornamented with thirty-two impressive natural and seed pearls, segmented with black hot enamel. This stunning Victorian pendant is suspended from a contemporary 18k yellow gold 18" curb chain via an integrated tapering bale ornamented with three further natural pearls, in addition to a black hot enamel border.
