About the Item
Here we have a wonderful antique locket dating back to the Victorian era. This oval shaped piece has been crafted from 18ct yellow gold and showcases a highly detailed gem set dragonfly motif at the centre of a foliated backdrop. Fauna and floral engraving around the outer edge acts as a border to the focal centre piece; a design which is consistent on the reverse side. This locket is surmounted with a sweeping header and neatly engraved bail.
