Victorian Sterling Silver Floral Locket With A Chain
About the Item
This antique Victorian silver photo locket with a rope chain is dated 1879 and it's 145 years old! The front of this beautiful piece depicts the floral oval panel surrounded by a scrolled design in the shape of the flowers petals. The floral motif was very popular in the Victorian era and the jewellery with this motif was often given to loved ones as a symbol of love, beauty, and dignity.
This exquisite locket has delicate engraved detail, and it presents beautifully when worn. It opens to reveal two picture compartments. A beautiful and rare Victorian gem. Hallmarked and dated inside of the locket 1879.
The silver chain is included as well, the locket will be shipped in a gift box.
