About the Item
This very strong design by Mogens Ballin (1871-1914) of a writing table set comprising an inkwell, a letter opener, a blotter and a writing board was executed in pewter, glass, ebony and green cart in 1900-1905 ca. Mogens Ballin was a painter and a silversmith. He was one of the foremost Danish designers of the Art Nouveau period.
